Maybe I should begin by diving from a high platform into deep water, for that would certainly be bold. But, I'm really more the type to go into the surf with a tentative toe, then to the ankle, moving slowly until the water laps at my shin. May I be so bold as to work my way in over my head no matter how cold the water. May I be so bold as to go into the water at all just so long as I begin.
