about me

I have been off of authonomy for months, and I am barely getting back into the groove of things. I've rewritten my stories, but I haven't had a chance to upload the changes. Hopefully I will get around to it soon so you can read my new and improved stories. As for now, I am busy with the chaos I call "my life". Honestly, I love you all for reading the ramblings I call "novels". My random mess of words somehow make for good storytelling. Go figure!

~***~

I'm a middle school English teacher and have a strange imagination. If I could write everything I've ever conjured up in my mind, I'd be a mixture of Stephen King and Jane Austen. WOW, that would be strange! I wouldn't compare my writing to theirs, couldn't live up to them, but my imagination could. I have a thing for tragic love stories, but I'm not sure I could write one...just a thought...

I love to read but my passion is writing. I've written several novels but have attachment issues. I just can't seem to cut the chord. My imagination runs wild, and sometimes in the wrong direction, but it's great for writing interesting stories. My novels read like a picture. I write so you can "see" what I see. I have stories from several genre including: sci-fi, fantasy, and realistic fiction. One day I will release my wonderful creations for all the world to see. Hopefully this site will help me to do just that.

I'm looking forward to reading all of the wonderful stories on authonomy. I'm sure to be in for some awesome surprises!

I hope you enjoy my imagination and my voice.

QUICK NOTE ON A TIME IN ETERNITY:
For those of you wondering why I do not describe my main character in "Time in Eternity - Two Worlds Collide," it is because I want my female readers to feel like they could actually "be" Brooke. I don't tell you if she is thin or full-figured, tall or short, blonde or brunette...it doesn't matter really. I like to imagine myself as the main characters in books quite frequently, so feel free to imagine her as you wish.

I also describe her high school experience quite a bit at the beginning. I want you to feel the day to day life and everything she experiences before she is suddenly thrust into chaos.

QUICK NOTE ON BACK TO ME and SAVING SADIE:
Back to Me and Saving Sadie are both in the beginning stages of the writing process. I need to add more "meat" in the middle, and I need to edit. They are works in progress.

I'd appreciate your thoughts and any advice either good or bad on any of my stories. I will consider your expertise. : )

Saving Sadie

Helene Montalvo

Angelique is an angel whose job is to save lost souls, but can she save them from the one demon who could possibly break her?

The best at what she does, Angelique is given the most difficult souls to save. Confident in her abilities, she approaches her new assignment with little doubt. Sadie Malone, a druggie and prostitute, may not be much of a challenge for Angelique, but Sadie's demon affects her instantly. Standing before her new assignment, gazing into the eyes of the demon so many angels could not break, Angelique is crushed.

Will this demon cause her to fall, or can Angelique fight against all odds to keep her wings?

A Time in Eternity - Two World....

Helene Montalvo

This sci-fi romance takes you on a journey into the lives of two high school seniors thrust into a fight for their lives...for their love.

Brooke Mathers is a high school senior who is hopeless when it comes to love. With an oh-so-predictable life, Brooke is expecting nothing more than the hum drum of her lousy existence to continue on until death. That is, until Jonathan Andrews walks into her life.

Jonathan, a soft spoken, dazzling artist, captivates Brooke with his staggering beauty and mysterious ways. Mysterious, because he has a secret…the fact that he is really from the future. With his future threatened by creatures from another world, Jonathan volunteers to protect the one element the aliens want…Brooke.

In a rollercoaster of passion and agony, this action packed adventure is full of twists and turns that keep Brooke and Jonathan searching for a way to elude the inevitable. What will Brooke do when she realizes that, in order to save Jonathan, in order to save his world, she must sacrifice herself? Will Jonathan be able to save her and his world?

I could have sworn I've backed your book before, but I'm not sure. I may have read it with the intention of commenting, but cannot remember. This by far is one of the best stories I've read in quite some time. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading it and think many YA's will as well. I am happy to b... view book

Paranoia...this is so well written. Great style and voice. Creepy and interesting. You have a way with grabbing your readers and hooking them from the get-go. I am curious to find out what happens and will continue to read on. This is backed! view book

Sorry it took me so long to comment, I backed your story a few days ago. Things in my life are utterly insane right now. I have to say your story grabbed me from the get-go and had me intrigued. Your writing is very visual and your characters well-developed. I love Liberty's personality. Yo... view book

Noelle, Yes, many of these corrections I have been meaning to fix. Just haven't had the time. Thanks so much for taking the time to read and point out my little oopsies. As for Sadie's wings, I actually thought of that but couldn't quite figure out how to word it. I think I have come up ... view book
