Headliner's my current WIP. I'm moving house and trying to finish my first draft at the moment, so not partaking of reads, shelvings, etc, so please don't feel obliged to read my manuscript. I use the upload facility as a way to edit visually. In the new year, I'll have more time for reading.

Thanks x

Rockstar rivalry just got juicier!

*ROUGH FIRST DRAFT OF NOVEL*

Jessica Nolan is done with waitressing in a small town diner. She wants to get out into the big wide world and achieve her dreams. Hitching a ride with a serial killer is just about the worst way to go about it.

Summer Knowles has carefully crafted her public image and is riding the waves of a promising career. But with a stalker on her tail, not only is her shameful past about to be exposed, but her life is at stake.

Newcomer Brett Stone, a dirty-blond rebel with an eye for the ladies, is the thorn in Wolf Taylor's side. Hype about Wolf's band, Sapphic, died while he recovered from a serious accident, and now he's determined to get back on the metal throne. Much to Wolf's chagrin, his record label just signed Brett, and he's flavour of the moment.

Brett and Wolf are fire and ice, and the California girls are ecstatic. Problem is, Los Angeles ain't big enough for the two of them.

Love it. Liverpudlian here, your descriptions are vivid and accurate. Well-written piece which flows seamlessly, and I want to know more about your characters, which keeps me reading. On my shelf. I'll comment further when I've read more chapters x view book

Well-written, interesting subject matter. I love coming of age stories...Stand By Me, Rebel Without A Cause etc, and I love a good mystery. No gripes with the MS (what I've read so far) and I am backing because I think this is good work. Now I'm off to read some more :) Ilyria x view book

This is good stuff. Really good. I found myself three chapters in without realising. I got a bit confused at 'I slapped her face', because the preceding she had been Marna's mother, and had to re-read it, so perhaps you might change it to 'I slapped Izzie's face'. Anyway, other than that, it's great... view book

I just finished your first chapter, and it's my kind of book. Gritty, realistic, and honest. There are a few typos and Emma/Ema is spelt differently (I'm an Emma!) in various parts, but the story holds its own. Someone said my book has a cinematic feel, and I think this does, too. I could imagine it... view book
