about me

I am a graphics designer by day, but by night my fingers are fast and furious on the keyboard, fashioning fiction, prose, poetry, hammering out my innermost imaginings.

I've ghost written two books, for which I was paid nicely, but beyond financial compensation, there is no personal recognition. I've completed several creative writing contracts, composing ad copy, entertaining blogs for site visitors; again, without my work being connected directly back to me.

I'm now eager to explore my creative writing ambitions to satisfy my personal need to create. If my work is found pleasing by others, so much the better.

Shadow Puppet

L J Rutledge

Propelled into a life on the run, Maggie Wilmont discovers that living in the shadows of the Federal Witness Protection Program doesn't mean she's hidden.

After learning her boyfriend's import/export business is merely a front for a dangerous human trafficking ring, Maggie Wilmont turns evidence over to the F.B.I. They enroll her in the Federal Witness Protection Program, change her identity, and move her hundreds of miles away; yet, even seasoned federal agents are inordinately challenged with the task of keeping her safe and alive long enough to testify.

Bewildered over their relentless pursuit to get to her, she must determine what she possesses that continues to pique the interest of the formidable crime syndicate. What she thinks she knows is hardly enough to warrant their fierce resolve to eliminate her.

Throughout her ordeal, she learns valuable life lessons about strength, trust, and devotion.

HEY, it let me back the book, but I can't give it a star rating. I would give it six if I could. :D view book

Compelling subject, as many probably don't think much of the depth of cyber crime and it's impact on society overall. You've obviously worked hard on your manuscript. I concur with the suggested edits detailed previously by Karen Eisenbray, so I won't repeat them. Good luck with your project. Best ... view book

This tale is exceptionally well written, very imaginative, powerful and moving. I've only read four chapters so far, but will be back to read more. I can certainly see why it is number on on the ED at this time, having earned it's way to the top on merit of its creativity. Best regards, LJ Rutle... view book

Roberta, You've done a fabulous job of laying out the information for the reader. Most people have no idea of everything involved in either health care or the insurance industry. As I was reading this I was reminded of a friend who, when she went to the hospital for the birth of her daughter, took... view book

Wow, this is a very intense thriller! For a book written primarily in narrative, it really has punch. view book
