about me

I'm a recent graduate from Grand Canyon University with a BA in English literature. I write both adult and YA fiction and am currently working on a rewrite of a manuscript I co-authored with my cousin-sister-best friend and we hope to have it finished by the new year.

favourite books

The Twilight Saga, Hunger Games, Vampire Academy Series, anything Laurell K. Hamilton, anything Stephen King (though The Stand is my favorite), The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, anything Nora Roberts, Linda Howard, Heather Graham, or Elizabeth Lowell, and that's not even scraping the surface.

Age of Eden

Jennifer Nichols and Stacey Ha....

Ava Monroe has a gift , a gift which renders her the power to open the Garden of Eden or the Gates of Hell.

For years, she has been haunted by the same dreams of people and places unknown to her. She doesn’t realize the dreams are a result of the power that resides in her blood until she is attacked by a group of fallen angels who want her to open the gates of hell. Thankfully, the guardians of heaven come to Ava’s rescue. They have a simple assignment -- or so it seems -- to protect the Key to Eden and convince her to open the Garden of Eden. Instead, they're faced with defending an emotional teenager who refuses to give up her life to fight with the guardians until after graduation. When the fallen angels arrive, a fight ensues and one of heaven's guardians becomes the first casualty in the one of the final battles of war between heaven and hell. With Ava’s help, the guardians will stop at nothing to unlock the Garden of Eden and grant heaven's wish for paradise on earth and the ultimate destruction of hell.

Andrea, I really didn't know what to expect when I first started reading through your collection. I'll admit, it's a bit out of my comfort zone, but I found myself really enjoying the feelings your writing envokes. There's something ethereal and whimsical about your descriptions and, like one of... view book

Brian, I read through the first several stories in your collection and I have to say I’m impressed. There are a few grammatical issues that need to be fixed and sometimes the dialogue comes across a bit stilted, but with a little polish, I think you could have something really special here. Keep... view book

Missy, I don't think I've ever been more impressed or aggravated by a book in my life. I'm impressed because I read the chapters you posted from start to finish and in one sitting because I couldn't look away. I'm aggravated because I didn't want to stop reading. I wish that this was all ready p... view book

Joshua, I’m completely at a loss for words right now. I have no clue how to express just how absolutely fantastic The Withering is. All I can say is I started chapter one and I didn’t stop reading until chapter eighteen. I was hooked from the first paragraph. I love the plot, the outstanding cha... view book
