Here are the basics...

I'm Greek-Australian. I grew up in Athens. I studied in London. Last year I taught and lived in Thailand and Vietnam. Since moving back to Greece a few months ago I have crossed the bridge from social to full-on smoker. I won't apologise for smoking; think of it as slow suicide. I keep forgetting I'm twenty-four and often give random ages by accident.
I write in dramatic spurts. I love my drink.

Here is a little word collage of me... I like arguing, avocados, bed-time, books, brogues, buttons, cats, chai tea lattes, coincidences, cupcakes, dreaming, fairy-lights, faux fur coats, fireplaces, fireworks, flowers, flying, French, hats, goldfish, high heels, ice-cream, Klimt, ladybugs, lists, lollipops, manicures, martinis, men's shirts, merry-go-rounds, the moon, naughtiness, old souls, owls, pearls, randomness, reading, red wine, riding on the backs of motorbikes, perfume, poetry, punch buggies, pyjamas, the sea, stars, sunshine, swearing, tattoos, thunderstorms, trains, traveling, trees, walking, whiskey, winning at Scrabble, winning in general and wottles.

I don't like it when the sky is dull and grey or when people are rude or when people call themselves vegetarian even though they eat fish. Also, I have an aversion to artichokes and anything orange-related (the colour, the fruit, the juice).

Did I say 'little'? I meant 'long'.

Pomegranates, Popcorn and Pearls is my first novel. In fact, it is the first draft of my first novel. Criticise away.

PS: I don't do this whole 'swap' thing. It negates the purpose of this site.

The Bell Jar, The Blue Day Book, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Captain Corelli's Mandolin, The Dud Avocado, A Girl's Guide to Hunting and Fishing, The House of Spirits, Story of My Life and Veronika Decides to Die. I love anything by David Sedaris and Enid Blyton. I adore everything by Roald Dahl. In my heart you can also find: The Giving Tree, Anne of Green Gables and Pipp Longstocking.
