about me

Hello,

I'm KaSonndra Leigh and you can call me Kay or KayLeigh whichever you can remember. I recently received the Masters of Fine Arts in creative writing, yet I still don't have much movie time. Sigh. My articles have been published in literary journals such as "The GNU" and at websites including eHow (I'm a DIY person). My YA novel "When Copper Suns Fall" will be released in January, 2012.

I live in the City of Alchemy and Medicine, North Carolina, inside an L shaped house that has a secret library complete with fairies, venetian plastered walls, and a desk made out of clear blue glass.

Many thanks to all my fellow Authonomians who helped catapult me onto the charts with your critiques/backings last year.

Yours in Prose
KayLeigh

Loved it! I don't do many backings on this site anymore, but I couldn't help but fall for this one. Keep us informed of your progress as it develops. Yours in Prose, KayLeigh view book

Hi Scott, Have backed your inspirational book because we need more novels written with Indians as main characters. I like the premise of this story and believe that it'll do well. Please take a look at The Seraph's Orb if you have time, as one of the main characters belong to the Lumbee indi... view book

Cute, charming, quick reads in the chapters that compel you to keep turning the pages. What more could you ask. The mice, the Swiss cheese table, all of these elements play together in a well thought out, eclectic mix of old and new cultures. You've got my support on this one. Backed! KaSonndra L... view book

Hi Sarah, What a cute and charming tale you've spun. Quite honestly, I'd pick this one up from the cover alone. Your opening line will rope in the reader with a question that doesn't try to hard to be intriguing while it's very becoming at the same time. Your writing flows with just the righ... view book

Hi Tim, What I enjoyed so much about Hellbound is the unstereotypical way in which you portrayed the devil. Like the Egyptian vein, there are many many stories depicting a Satan as protag/antag. But you take the story into an entirely new direction and do so in a unique way. Kudos for your o... view book
