about me

Well my old about me needs some updating. I was doing nursing until my people died and now I'm going back into teaching, reading tutor. I just hope it leaves me enough time to do what I love. I have been, i guess you can call it editing? I work with a published author and tear apart her book and give my suggestions. It's really cool because I see so much of what I told her in the book. We have one book being published right now and am working on another one. I am learning how to write better from her even though I don't have much time betwee studying for RN boards, reading and editing. I still can't come up with a solid story. I have my characters and a general idea where I want it to go, but not enough to come up with an outline to start writing scenes and chapters although I have wrote two chapters that will probably be changed a million times, but I love my people. I would love any ideas to add to my story to make a solid outline. If anyone wants to help me send me a message and I will email you. Thanks so much and glad to be on hear. I do read chapters and back books so don't be afraid to ask, but I do have to warn you I love YA books with parnormal activity, any kind. That's my favorite. I got started as a late reader in life and the whole twilight thing is what got me started, I know weird since I'm 39, but oh well, don't care what anyone thinks :)

favourite books

I don't really have any right at the moment. I started out with the whole twilight thing, read just about every ya vamp book then branched out to nicholas sparks. So I really don't know what I really like right now. Still testing the waters :)

Thank you so much. I don't think I'm brilliant by any means, but working on it. I haven't decided if I want to write this from third person or first yet. I like reading first better but I seem to write better third. I don't know. What do you think about third vs. first in writing? view book

Thank you so much for your reply. I know it needs a lot of work, but I appreciate how you commented on specifics and contradictions. This tells me that all people have completely different opinions and no one person has the exact right answer or is the best writer in the world. So thank you for that... view book

I completely appreciate your critique. It gives me a real idea of how I am not saying what I intended. I understand how you were talking about telling and not showing. I thought I did that until you gave me the examples. I will have to do a lot of revision to encompass something close to what your t... view book

Well you checked out my two story chapters and appreciated the comments. I don't want to be harsh and since this is not my usual type of read I will put it like this, it was different. For me, it started out very slow and although many below thought it was very compelling I found it a bit choppy. Th... view book
