I turned fifty this year and decided I don't know anything about me anymore. I have been believing my own stories for so long I'm not sure who that fat, old woman in the mirror is. It's quite disturbing.
Everybody else thinks I'm wonderful. Does that count?

favourite books

Anything and everything by Terry Pratchett, Tolkien, and Jane Anne Krentz. Mostly, Terry. I loved Going Postal, and any of his books even remotely connected with Esmeralda Weatherwax. She's my hero, but I'm probably more like Nanny Ogg (sigh).
