about me

I AM LOOKING FOR COMMENTS WORTH READING, GOOD OR BAD:
Nigel C Gilbert. The 'C' stands for Charles and I may well use that in full sometime. 51 years old and still thinking like a 15 year old, Tunnel Vision is my 2nd novel. I am currently writing my 3rd 'Split', which is soon to be finished. I am looking for representation by an Agent or publisher. Maybe this will help. Read Tunnel Vision with a light hearted view and enjoy.
I am in the process of fine tuning and editing Tunnel V, but will welcome any comments pointing out errors that may well have slipped the net. I will upload edited chapters as they are finished. Thanks for checking it out.

TUNNEL VISION

NIGEL C GILBERT

Tunnel vision tells the story of Nicky Spiller's attempt to become rich and attract the girl of his dreams, Stephanie Wild.

In a small town somewhere in England, Nicky Spiller and his 'Crew' decide to dig a tunnel from the school grounds to the local Post Office in a vain attempt to become rich. Nicky, assuring the Crew there would be enough money for them to afford the finer things in life such as, mopeds, holidays, burgers and in Nicky's case, Stephanie Wild. Things don't go quite as expected when the Crew have second thoughts at the last minute and leave Nicky in a less than safe tunnel.
In the confusion the tunnel collapses, leaving Nicky only one way out, through the floor of the post office. After being caught, arrested, and thrown into a cell at the local Police station whilst the police decide what to do with him, the story takes several twists and turns until reporter Peter Pearce gets involved, leaving Nicky with a moral dilema.

Jesus (THE MALE ONE), Ican't belive you got into the top five then dropped out, or did I miss something? We need more readers and backers. Can you back twice, or is that not allowed??? Just publish it! Nige ;-) view book

Hi Jane. You found me! I've edited up to Chapter 7, but it still needs more work, finding time is hard. Stick it on your bookshelf, it's going down in the ranks, but only because I've neglected it a little. Get your book up there J, I'll back it and spread the word. See you soon and stay young, I'... view book

I've read some of the 1st chapter and think it's worthy of being placed in the top five, so it's on my bookshelf giving it a boost to the top 5. Please check out Tunnel Vision if you have time. Thanks, Nigel. view book

Just been reading a section of the 1st chapter. I feel you write in the same style as me. I'm going to read on as I get time, because seems we have some sort of writing connection. I love the way you draw the reader into the story. Too early to say I love it, but it certainly needs more reading. Che... view book
