Four lives intersect and overlap, in an America where creative expression has been destroyed and the artistic mind is the government's greatest weapon for subjugation.
Under The New American Standard, creative expression is an illicit and corruptive force. American citizens hold to a President that promises to lift them from the overwhelming depression that has seized the country. The constitution is declared obsolete and replaced. Libraries are burned and sacred artwork destroyed. At government run schools across the country, students are shaped and molded into soldiers and ideal citizens. But rebellion stirs in the minds of citizens, students begin to question, and Instructors begin to recall the memories that were taken from them. Four lives intersect and overlap, one of them searching, one of them fighting, one of them hoping, and one of them lost.
"Against the masters of construction the poets will hold the pin and raze the very words that have been turned against them. Music will mourn the birth of creation and colors will brush sad lines.
They will recall my name and reclaim my name. My children, will whisper rebellion and on their tongue—it is shaped: America."
