about me
I am 52 years old and was born and raised in Scotland. My employment background is in accountancy. However, due to chronic illness (CFS/ME), I am unable to work. Writing is my hobby.
In 1992 I gave myself to Jesus Christ and embarked on the Christian life. One way that I like to express my faith is through my writing. Scripture calls upon the Lord’s people to be ‘light and salt’. Therefore I decided to write magazine articles of a political nature.
My writing seeks to promote Christian values in the context of secular British society. To date I have had 11 articles published, and they comment on diverse issues such as freedom of religious expression, Islam, marriage, gay rights, feminism and racism.
Searching for a Saviour – A Diary is my first serious attempt at writing a novel. My motivation for writing the book flows from a strong desire to express a sense of my own struggle in surrendering myself to Christ and as a challenge to non-believers whose hearts deceive them that they are too much of this world to do the same.
