Hi Dan - I loved 'Platform'! So much so my first novel was a dreadful imitation of a rip-off of a parody of it (now safely under lock and key in the bottom drawer...). Wow! I like this. Dark, without being oppressive, which is what I'm aiming for. The characters spring to life. I've only read CH 1 so far, and dipped into 2, but I like it a lot so far! Steve view book

Hi Danny have read The Exiles. I liked it a lot. Evocative language and descriptions, full of pathos. Characters were rendered well, though I found the rush of names in the first few paragraphs a little confusing. Perhaps that says more about me than about your writing though! Hmmm - have read chapters 1 and 2. I like the mystery - it pulls you into the story. The characters seem well drawn and believable. Perhaps I would've liked a bit more about the setting, i don't yet really have a feel for where these people are, but all in all bags of potential! Steve view book
