I love to write, whether sitting in front of my computer or on the back of a bus with a chewed pencil and battered old note pad, its what keeps my rather over active imagination at bay! I can't really remember when I first started to write stories, my parents apparently have stacks of short stories told through the eyes of five year old mini version of myself. I would love to see some of my writing in proper book form and for people to enjoy my stories as much as i have enjoyed writing them.

I have just graduated from University and am now a qualified Primary School teacher which is a job i love. Writing is a hobby of mine and is a source of enjoyment for me and i hope that anything i publish on this site is enjoyed...

favourite books

I enjoy a wide range of authors and genres. I love to read Ian Flemming books, his attention for detail is fantastic and of course his iconic hero is such an engaging character. I also adore the Tolkien books particularly the Hobbit. I also enjoy Paulo Cuelo's stories and i am particularly keen on 'The Alchemist' which, although cheesy in places, is a book i tend to pick up at least once a year.

I love to read anything that includes a good adventure, that can take me away from my world and transport me into the world of the characters. If you read my writing you'll probably notice the rather stark differences between my own reading interests and my choice of topic!! I can't explain it!
