about me

I've been born again since August of 1994 and am married to a wonderful soulmate, Mary. I am both a father and a step-father. Besides being a law student, private detective, and tax professional, I am also a major in the United States Air Force Auxilliary and first served with the Chaplain Corps as a moral leadership officer before being transferred to the line. I have been on 29 actual Air Force Search & Rescue Missions. I was also an emergency medical technician for seven years.

The Prefect

James R. Holmes

Church Drama showing what Judgment Day may really be like.

Brother Cameron was a Born-Again Christian lawyer and US Air Force Judge Advocate before the rapture. Now, as Judgment Day approaches, Brother Cameron is selected by the Lord Jesus Christ as Prefect of the Prison of the Condemned. His orders are simple: He and his proctors must pass out the inictments to all of the inmatres and explain the charges against them. Watch the drama unfold as Cameron deals with doctors, lawyers, dockyard workers and soccer moms, high school and college students, a Russian Czar, his own father, as well as Judas Iscariot, Pontius Pilate and Ciaiaphas the High Priest and ushers them in to face judgment before Christ.

I never thought I'd please everyone. I'm realistic about that. A drama or play basically is nothing but dialogue, and looks are left open as you never know what the actor who plays the role will look like. As far as preaching to people, I will bear it in mind in my comments - but as far as the book ... view book

Hi, Colin, I'm going to begin by stating that I'm not into this genre. Modern secular books - particularly relational ones - are generally a turn-off for me. But I read through it per your request and I'll give you my view on it. I have disciplined myself to think outside the box on this one. ... view book

You are a very good story-teller. I'm generally not into this genre, but I recognize talent when I see it. The style is very similar to Claude Brown in "Manchild in the Promised Land". Backed. view book

You requested that I read this and comment. This is obviously the product of A LOT of hard, meticulous, work. Your work has merit and it shows. I'm really not into this genre. So there may be some prejudice here. But you do well in conveying emotion and inducing the reader to believe that they would... view book
