about me

I'm a management consultant running my own businesses. I'm married with two daughters. I've written five books, one of them, An Agent For Change has been published, but I'm looking for a publisher for the other three, a fantasy trilogy, and my latest, Boundary Limit. Boundary Limit is a departure for me from my normal genre of fantasy, an action/thriller/sci fi/horror type book that has very modern terrorist overtones and a viewpoint from all perspectives. If enough people liked it and it actually got published, I think I have it in me to turn it into a trilogy. I am actively looking for publishers and agents for this completed work.

No Boundaries

Paul Xavier Jones

Blake Trubble is back, and this time he has no boundaries to stop him in his quest to eliminate terrorism, There will be Trubble....

Forced to leave his beloved SAS, Blake Trubble has a chance to start all over again. The ghosts of his murdered family no longer haunt him, and he can finally think about a new future. Although he left the army on bad terms, Blake is still a world class anti-terror asset, one that is sought after to command an ultra-secret combat strike force with a limitless budget and resources. And only one mission: Destroy all threats to the security and way of life of the Western World. Blake’s recruitment is timely as a new attack on the West is launched, one that will leave an enduring memory of terror even more powerful than the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Towers. From London to the Port of Aden in Yemen and onto the suburbs of Geneva, Blake and his strike force must race against the clock and prevent the use of a weapon that can turn ordinary people into crazed killing machines. And as with all Blake’s missions there is one constant: There will be Trubble…

Boundary Limit

Paul Xavier Jones

Humanity must face the consequences when it pushes at the boundary of this reality, breaching its limits and opening a door to another…

Blake Trubble is a man with an obsession. Personal tragedy and a troubled past have moulded him into an emotionless killer, with one aim in life – the relentless destruction of all extremists and terrorists. And he lives to only one personal motto: ‘Nil Captivum,’ or literally, ‘No Prisoners.’ As a Major in a crack SAS team, he has numerous opportunities to fulfil this motto. But there’s one man Blake wants more than any other; Mahmoud Sabak, the Western governments’ most secretly wanted terrorist leader. A man with a burning ambition to win the Jihad and wreak death and havoc among the infidels. When Sabak seizes the multi billion Euro Large Hadron Collider , Blake gets his chance at revenge upon the man who robbed him of his happiness. Taking his elite SAS team and a group of French Special Forces, Blake must rescue the 400 personnel being held hostage and preserve the facility undamaged. But both Blake and Sabak haven’t counted on the power of the Collider, and the effect of recreating the “Big Bang." Humanity must face the consequences when the Collider pushes at the boundary of this reality, breaching its limits and opening a door to another…

I found the first part of the piece had a little too much going on for me. I'm ok with metaphors etc, but they are crammed into the narrative and it isn't until I got past that part that the story took shape. At this point, the writing flowed and was engaging enough for me to want to read more, alth... view book

Hi Enos, taken a look at chapter 1. I generally look to see if a book flows and then if it will hold my attention, and Onset did both. There are some minor errors in the text, missing words, but not much in the way of any other type of error.Seems like a read that if I picked up I would continue rea... view book

Good opening. As if the crash wasn't bad enough, the nutcase with the tyre iron was. If the book has the same consistency all the way through, I'm sure it will be an interesting read. Backed. If you get a chance check out Boundary Limit. I don't ask for auto backing, if you like it say so, and if... view book

Hi Lynne, you previously backed Boundary Limit, would you take another look and give it a star rating? The prologue and first chapter have been rewritten in line with feedback from the site, so it won't be exactly the same. Thanks, Xavier view book

Hi Lorne, checked out the first chapter of this book. Firstly, it is not something that I would normally read, my tastes tend towards sci fi, fantasy and horror. But I have to say that what I have read is very well written, and for people who like this type of genre I believe it would engage them an... view book
