Marissa is new to Ealinga City but she isn't planning on staying for long. Unfortunately things rarely go to plan for Marissa. She didn't plan on dying, or becoming a strange mix of Vampire and Witch, or falling for a Vampire. But the one who turned her has plans for her. He ended her Human life and now he's after her again.

Marissa's mission is to kill Kai, the one who turned her. She's been alone, until now. Along with a slightly (OK understatement) hyperactive Fairy, a Vampire who may be good but may be not and a Faine - a half Human, half Angel (possibly), very powerful being - Marissa must protect herself and Ealinga City from Kai.

Vampires, Half Vampires, ex-girlfriends, Fairies and Faines all get involved and suddenly Marissa's life becomes very complicated.

Still, no matter how complicated, Marissa would like to keep her life, if she can...

Imagine, just for a minute, that within the Human world of science, facts and logic there was another world, coexisting.

Long have Humans speculated over the truth of mythical stories and the existence of another world – the Demon World.
My name is Felicity Jackston-Jones and I’d like to tell you my story – the Leylan story – and perhaps you’ll learn more about this world.
My story begins three weeks before my twelfth birthday on the anniversary of my parents’ wedding. My brother Adam, who’s three years older than me, led me past rows and rows of headstones, holding my hand. We stopped near the left-hand corner of the cemetery in front of a small plaque. Two rose bushes were planted in the flowerbed behind the plaque and I noted that the light pink roses had bloomed beautifully again this year. My heart was in my throat as I moved my gaze to the plaque.
‘In memory of Peter and Julia Jones, loving parents’. That’s what the plaque said then and still says today. When I was five years old my parents were killed by a psychopath, but enough of this morbid topic. The reason my story starts here is because this was the point my life began to change forever.

So it's me, Felicity Jackston-Jones, again! Back in LA, back in trouble - more trouble than before. I'm hunting the one who killed my parents!!

When I was five years old my life changed. My parents were killed by a psychopath.

When I was twelve years old my life changed again. I found out that I'm not Human but you already know that story.

As for now I, along with my boyfriend Zack, the other Demons and our parents, who don't know what we are, are moving back to LA. Great! Not.

Not only are we hunted by the FBI and our former friends who work for them but our mission is to kill the one who killed my parents. I'm looking forward to the revenge part but he's a scary psychopathic God! Yikes.

Still what's the worse that could happen? Heh...
