about me

favourite books

Far too many to list really. Generally whatever I am reading at the time.
I have just finished The Electric Michaelangelo by Sarah Hall which was fantastic.
I love both the Purple Hibiscus and Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Sons by Khaled Hosseini
Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt
Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts is may possibly tip the post as my all time favourite book but that is a bold statement!
The list could go on but I will stop there!

I couldn't quite get to grips with the image of the sist... view book

I thought this was just lovely. I love that the narrator is a character in itself seemingly trying to shape a story that is running away on its own. I thoroughly enjoyed the world of the Isle of Somnus at times confusing, wonderful and fantastic in equal measure. This sets itself apart from anythin... view book

Benjamin I really really enjoyed this. I found Cal painfully frustrating at times but as the story unfolds you finally understand the heartbreaking truth about why he is so silent. Brilliant. I found the hunting language a little difficult at times but I think the importance of the mountain comes ... view book
