about me

My first novel, Chosen, was (self) published last year and I've finished writing my second - Ghosts. Both are urban fantasy.

Chosen is selling in bookshops are the country, including Waterstones. But still, I'm after the holy grail of a 'proper' deal with 'proper' publisher.

I've uploaded some of Chosen and will soon upload some of Ghosts. Above all, I hope people enjoy what they read. That's been the greatest buzz so far: to find that I've entertained complete strangers with my story telling.

favourite books

My favourites tend to change (call me fickle if you want) but I love James Ellroy's work because it's so fast paced.

Clive Barker's early work (Weaveworld and the like) has had a great influence on me. So has the children's writer Robert Westall who is a genius at telling ghost stories.
