Meera

T. J. H. Boggis

Meera is an epic fantasy story which takes place in a fictional region of Japan known as the Hirono Domain.

Meera follows the journey of Takashi Asano and his best friend Kamari Shiro who are forced from their homes when a vast army of foreign mercenaries sweep through their village and kill or enslave everyone there. Managing to escape with their lives, Takashi and Kamari task themselves with journeying to Harakima castle, the seat of Lord Orran, to warn him of the danger his people are in.
Eventually, Takashi and Kamari reach Harakima castle and they relate everything they know to Lord Orran’s General. It is then that Takashi meets Meera, Lord Orran’s daughter, and he is transfixed by her.
During his time in Harakima, Takashi becomes fascinated by the culture of the Kurai, (Lord Orran’s soldiers). He learns about their philosophies, their way of life, their fighting styles and he also learns of their history and legends. One in particular interests him. It is said that when a strong Kurai warrior dies his spirit does not pass on from this world but remains and is channelled into the skin of a wolf, to go on fighting for Lord Orran and the protection of Hirono. Takashi cannot help but feel that this legend is tied in with his own destiny.

Wolf Warriors

T. J. H. Boggis

Wolf Warriors is the epic finale to the adventure story that began with Meera.

Wolf Warriors once again follows the adventures of Takashi Asano (now known as Wolf) and Kamari Shiro as they journey far into the west to seek the Council of Wolves and plead for help against a deadly enemy who now threatens Harakima castle. Emboldened by the destruction of Aralano and Orran’s Blade, Lord Shao Kichibei has seen his chance to take back the domain that he believes is rightfully his and Takashi and Kamari must assemble an army to repel his invading forces. But at the same time Takashi is searching for something else; Meera, his lost love and along the way he finds that she is inexorably linked with the events unfolding around him and he cannot help but feel that he is being drawn on towards a conclusion that both frightens and intrigues him, but also feels inevitable and inviting.

The Guide

T. J. H. Boggis

When young Clara Brown awakes to the sound of a wolf howl in the garden she soon finds herself drawn into another world.

The Guide is a fantasy story that opens in the North-East of England around the time of the depression. The plot follows the journey of young Clara Brown who meets a wolf called Kai in her garden who tells her that he has the cure to her Mother’s illness. Under instruction from his master, Lord Tarano, Kai tells her that if she agrees to enter his world and help them with their problem first then she will be given the means to save her Mother’s life. With her mind in a whirl Clara agrees to go with Kai into his world but she cannot shake off the feeling of unreality. She feels drawn back to her safe warm bed and while every instinct screams at her that this cannot possibly be real she feels compelled to continue, for even the smallest possibility of helping her Mother is worth risking everything for.

The Final Page

T. J. H. Boggis

A lost diary, a vicious conflict and a young boy trying to prove to the world and himself that he is not afraid…

When William Belmont and his dog Ada discover a diary in the mud, a boot print stamped on top of it, they do not realise where it will lead them nor how much it will change their lives. Will sees it as a chance to absolve himself of a label he has been lumbered with all his life, a label he hates but also secretly knows to be true. Coward. Will decides there and then to return the diary to its owner, one Isabella Bertolli. There’s just one small problem. A war is raging all around them and their country is caught right in the middle of it. Plus there’s the issue of the guards watching his every move…

Looking good Adam, the imagery in this first chapter alone is beautiful but I feel like there is great sorrow and loneliness there also which is perfectly portrayed through the character of Lunar. I'm looking forward to reading more of this when I have time :) view book

Thank you very much for the comments Bren, they made me very happy indeed! I'm still desperately trying to put your book on my shelf but it won't let me! I've got an empty space on my shelf that seems impossible to fill for some reason. Anyone else having this problem? view book

Hi Simon, I'm reading this in work so unfortunately I don't have much time but I'm already intrigued. The growing sense of mystery is just right for the audience you are aiming at and Penelope's character has already started to grow and flourish in only the first chapter. I'll try and read more if I... view book
