about me

I have been an avid storysmith for the better part of my 28 years. It has always been a dream of mine to become published, and I hope that this will be a stepping stone to that goal. My writing has included fantasy, sci-fi, adventure, drama, comedy, and biography. I've written in both literary and screen mediums, and hope to find place among the greats in the industry.

I currently reside in Alaska, and work within the corrections system. i must say the majority of the reading I've done as of late has been here on Authonomy. When not parusing the site, I'm generally working on some other yarn of mine.

When it comes to backing books, I'm not going to just blindly give you my blessing. I believe in the concept of this site, and welcome requests to look at your material, but I will not back a book without looking at it first.

I love to meet new people, but have'nt really taken advantage of the whole 'social networking' thing. I'd rather find a site dedicated to those with my same interests, rather than search for them on one of those monster sites.

Well, if you like intrigue, suspense, romance, thrills, and an overall sureal literary experience; I suggest you take a look at The Ascension. It's been a scattered development over the last eight years, and the first of the trilogy is now complete here on Authonomy. Let me know what you think. I love critisizm as I feel it only make my work that much stronger.

Good luck to you all, and keep writing!

The Ascension

M.B.Dillon

Standing at the brink of the end of the world, could you find the strength to fight for it?

Ariel knows that someone important is going to die. She doesn’t know who, or where, but the dreams wont leave her alone. While she would be perfectly alright with never finding the answers, it seems she has no choice.
Ripped from a life of seclusion in the care of an excommunicated priest, Ariel is thrust into a world beyond anything she could have imagined; a clandestine shade of society teetering the thin line separating her senses of reality and faith.
In the hands of a misanthropic exorcist, Ariel must face abilities rooted deep within her being in a cross continent race to stop, what could be, the beginning of the end for the world as we know it.
