about me

The Key of Kilenya (first in the Kilenya Series) has been published in both paperback and eBook formats. :-) http://www.kilenyaseries.com

Book two, The Ember Gods, will be released fall 2011, and I'm working on a few other projects. :-)

Thank you to all of you for your support. I swear by authonomites and their opinions!

I don't have a lot of time right now, but I intend to do a few reads a week. If you read The Key of Kilenya, let me know in either a comment or a message, and I'll read yours (though I don't guarantee a backing).

Oh, and I'm a Grammar Nazi. Let me know if you're looking for comments on grammar, and I'll pass those on.

The Key of Kilenya

Andrea Pearson

Jacob discovers a gateway to a different world where everyone already knows who he is and that he possesses magical abilities.

When two vicious wolves chase fourteen-year-old Jacob Clark down a path from our world into another, his life is forever changed. He has no idea they have been sent by the Lorkon—evil, immortal beings who are jealous of powers he doesn’t know he possesses—powers they desire to control. The inhabitants of the new world desperately need Jacob's help in recovering a magical key that was stolen by the Lorkon and is somehow linked to him. If he helps them, his life will be at risk. But if he chooses not to help them, both our world and theirs will be in danger. The Lorkon will stop at nothing to unleash the power of the key—and Jacob's special abilities.

Freedom Seeker

Andrea Pearson

Setatchan doesn't know she's a harvested human, or that she's human at all, living as a slave.

All she's known is the alien queen she's been ruled over since birth. Then one day she meets Davey, and everything changes. He convinces her of who she is and where she comes from. He wants her help in escaping, but his impatience and forcefulness scare her. She has a choice to make: help Davey and go with him, or continue as she is – trying to be content in a life of slavery and deception.

I like the length of your chapters, and your description and dialog are excellent. Shelved. Andrea The Key of Kilenya view book

Was only able to read the first chapter, but you've definitely started the book in a great spot. You have a very original style of writing. Shelved. Andrea The Key of Kilenya view book

Read through the first two and a half chapters (Sorry it's taken me so long to comment). The only thing that would possibly cause problems for you where getting published is concerned is the overuse of italics and words in uppercase. If you feel the dialog doesn't carry enough weight without these, ... view book

Playing catch up with my comments. Read through the first three chapters this morning. This is a great story - intense - the way I like books to be. Andrea The Key of Kilenya view book
