about me

Good luck to everyone. I've met very interesting writers and enjoyed a lot of the stories here but I decided to shuffle-off since I have less time on my hands these days.

I want to thank all of you who gave me an honest read with wonderful comments and observations to improve my work.

All the best to you and remember, writing is more than just an art, it's a business. The more you learn how to make your book commercially viable, the better your chances at publication. Keep writing and reading, and editing along the way. If you have what it takes, they'll take what you have. Sometimes.

I've thought of posting her again with the revisions I've made but something tells me I'll be wasting my time. I see too many YA titles here, which is a good market, aside from romances, these days, so I think I'll pass.

I'm sure HC is looking for YA.

First let me say that I like the idea behind this story, but I'm trying to sort it all out in my head. Maybe this needs more focus but it's promising and reminds me of Kurt Vonnegut in its approach and peculiar writing style. Good luck with it Tim. Keep working at it, this has a lot of potential wit... view book

Lynn, I think this is the perfect blend of several genres, and it all has your own unique flavor, a great voice and style that's easy to like and keeps you riveted to every word. Your descriptions are like fine paintings, contrasted by sharp dialog throughout. Very strong voice here and especially e... view book

I like the opening, John. This is nicely structured and easy to read and follow the storyline. The cover reminds me of Rosemary's Baby. Good stuff! Shelved. Alberto ADFB view book

Sue, I love the opening. This is very poignant, very touching and heartbreaking at the same time. You're in the right place since HC has a new imprint called HarperTrue that publishes real life stories like this. Hopefully they'll give your good story a home. Backed with blessings. Good luck! Backed for the concept alone. Loved the pitch and the book jacket too. Chilling. Stroke of genius, Frank. Reads a lot like a screenplay. Reminds me of "Perfume," another bizarre story of a serial killer. Made a great movie, as I'm sure this one will too, really good stuff. Cheers! Alberto ADFB view book
