about me

FINDING MY FEET PART ONE.
I'm dropping due to my hiatus - please lend your support!

I'm a student immersed in writing, exams and waitressing. I jot down everything I come across - stories, relationships, food and, of course, emotional blips. My books aren't autobiographical, but you can definitely pick up on little nuggets of information about me through them.

Finding My Feet (Part One)

Alexzandra Goode

Adriana seems to have everything she wants - so why does it all feel so impossibly wrong?

Even at sixteen, Adriana’s life is remarkably easy. She has freedom, she has flair and she has friends. Sure, her parents are divorced and yes, she’s not brilliant at school, but she can work past that. So when Adriana's life takes a turn for the hectic, it becomes clear that she's overestimated herself and isn't ready to grow up. Who is the father of her sister's baby? Can she truly deal with the booming career she so wanted? And above all, why is her dream relationship becoming more of a hindrance than a heaven-made match?
Maybe she was wrong. Maybe things won't ever be normal when you're dating your teacher.

Part One & Part Two fully edited and completed.

Finally made my way through the samples, was very intrigued by the synopsis as it sounds exactly my kind of book. Love the contrast between the characters, slightly distracted by a couple of grammatical errors. I think working on the structure and paragraphs could give some of it more impact. Bes... view book

Very briefly, but i had to write something! Love the narration, the characters, the title headings, the impact, the emotion, the mixed story, the messed up plots. Brilliant brilliant fiction. view book

I found this interesting - my momma was an army brat growing up too, and she's always referred to the hardship of moving from state to state. I have to say I'm still not fully grasping the story, but I enjoyed the narrative, good build-ups of tension and an emotive first-person narrative. Thanks... view book

Hi Joe, You're right, I particularly enjoyed Ch. 9 and Anita - what a romance! Reading the comments below, it seems that Spud is the favourite character, but i have to say I connect much more with our level-headed, sometimes-pissed-off but-always-able-to-deal-with-it narrator. An exciting story t... view book

So far I've loved what I read. This is spot on my kind of genre and i like the dry humour running through. Pinkie is a great character and I would love to see her crop up again later on. My only issue is with formatting and layout - some paragraphs are a bit big and it's a bit foreboding to read it ... view book
