about me

I am a 28-year-old female and a proud Canadain. I just graduated with a BEd and plan to start teaching elementary in the next school year.

Writing has always been a hobby for me, something I did for myself and only shared with close friends. It wasn't until I discovered National Novel Writer's Month and the wonderful community there that I started to seriously start writing. It wasn't until I found this site that I seriously considered whether I wanted to publish one of my novels.

I am originally from fictionpress.com and I get seriously excited when I see some of my favourite authors from there uploading their stories here.

I eventually plan to upload my first novel "In the Shadow of Obsidian Empire", but it is in need of serious revision first.

I read mostly young adult and chick lit, with some romance thrown in. Unique clichés tend to be my guilty pleasure, but as long as something about it captures my attention, I will read it.

I am currently in the long drawn out process of moving, so at the moment I will not be doing much reading.
