favourite books

I bow down to Nora Roberts, so anything by her are my favorite. Her characters leap from the page and it truly feels as though I am experiencing everything they are. So gifted. If I had to choose one favorite from her I'd have to pick 'Three Fates'.
But also, there is Sandra Brown's novels from about 1997 to present except for Tough Customer which didn't seem to have the Sandra touch at all. My favorite is 'Envy'.
Linda Howard takes the gold for her ability to write steamy scenes. My favorite by her was 'Cry No More'.

The Housewife

Samantha Stone

With mystery, suspense and heat, The Housewife is a story of betrayal, redemption and second chances.

After the unsolved death of her husband, Megan Burke gets a second chance to live out her dream: To be married and raise a family. Now, with two kids, driving an expensive SUV, living in a comfortable home in the suburbs with her new husband Matt, Megan is content with life.
However, the sudden reappearance of Ryan Hanson, an old friend of Megan's, ignites emotions and desires she had thought had been completely smothered out by the day to day responsibilities of raising a family. With the reemergence of these feelings, Megan is left questioning how content she really is with her marriage.
Her doubts take a back seat when mysterious phone calls begin threatening her five year old son, Jimmy. When heart wrenching tragedy strikes, it only drives Megan further into the arms of another man.
But catastrophe occurs on the heels of tragedy, turning Megan's world upside down. There is no one to turn to or trust, except for her increasingly shady husband, Matt.

Okay, your short pitch and long pitch is good. Made me one to read this. You have an excellent way of describing scenery that I can really see it in my mind. However, I feel the drive out to Colvin's house was way too long with the description. I found myself just skimming it after a few paragra... view book

Okay, finished! So many positives here as I'm sure you know and have definately been told. What personally touched me was when Julia was in the tub loathing herself for falling for the con. I think I've felt similar to that a couple times in my life. You described it so well. I love a good co... view book

Your title caught my attention being that the title of my book is 'The Housewife'. Now, though, I'm really enjoying the read! view book

Spot on writing. Witty dialogue. And exceptional character development even if I don't particularly like them. But I think you did this on purpose which I think is cool. I really don't have any criticism to offer other than I didn't feel compelled to read past the first three chapters. I belie... view book

This is some of the best dialogue in works I've seen on Authonomy. Great character development. I feel I know these women personally after just one chapter! view book
