Jake longs to escape from the boring and dead village of Reef Hill for excitement and adventure. But he gets much more than what he wishes for when the truth about the past inhabitants of Reef Hill begin to surface. He is met by creatures he could only dream about. Jake's life is turned upside down as faces from the past return in a battle of survival between humans and creatures from beyond who call themselves the Therions.
