about me
What makes a physician? Is it the training, the technology, the expertise? It most certainly is not his ability to deal with all of the modern load of 'paperwork' that defines our modern 'healthcare.' I believe it is something else internal. i started writing my 'answer' to this question way back in 1989, and then, thanks to some well-intentioned friends, I more recently picked back up on this thread. What I have written is a medical fantasy novel that deals with this issue, among others. As the seventh generation physician in our family, I think that I am in a unique position to address these questions.
