about me

Currently hard at work on Volume Two of the Shadow Origins Series. I want to be more active on Authonomy but am having trouble finding the time. So if you've backed me, commented, or messaged me, please be patient. Sometimes I only have enough time to reciprocate a backing.

favourite books

Just about anything by Clive Cussler, Piers Anthony, or Laurell K. Hamilton, to name a few. My reading tastes vary almost as widely as my tastes in music.

Gastbona by Stuart Wormington (and I'm not just listing it because he's my twin brother!)

Immortals Among Us

Stephen Wormington

Funny how reality changes when the voices in your head start developing lives of their own.

We all have personas: different sides we show in public, at work, to our friends or family, one we only see when alone, and perhaps a side we deny. Most of us do not even recognize those personas. Through an inexplicable link to minds with memories spanning history, Seth Warren has developed six unique personas, collectively known as the Shadows. As Seth tries to convince himself that these memories are figments of his imagination, an assassination attempt awakens his Shadows and throws him into the reality of Earth’s best-kept secrets, the Immortals Among Us. One Immortal breaks the rules to eliminate Seth, prompting others to do the same to protect him. While his new guardians prepare him for his greatest challenges, trouble brews inwardly. As they help Seth through these trials, the Shadows become increasingly self-aware, and direct contact with their idols, the Immortals, only encourages their growth. How much longer will they be content with the back seat of Seth’s mind?

I can't say anything that hasn't already been said in over 500 comments. This is a great read and I'm honored to reciprocate the backing. Sicilian Shadows deserves a place on any bookshelf. Stephen Wormington Immortals Among Us view book

I just want to assure you, Musette, and any other readers out there who might wonder the same thing, that there will definitely be stories dedicated to each of the Immortals, time willing of course. For now I'll be working hard when I can to get that next installation ready for you. ;) Thanks ... view book

"Wow." That was literally my reaction after reading the first chapter of Golden Moon. Dawn, this is a fascinating tale already and I'm pleased you brought it to my attention by commenting on Immortals Among Us. I can't say much more than has already been stated in previous comments. I do love an... view book

Definitely worth the read and a place on my bookshelf. Frank, I wish you the best of luck and hope Artistic License makes the ED this month. Until then, this one will stay on my shelf. Stephen Wormington view book
