about me

So, this is me. I'm married wth two children, two cats and have a full time job so there's never a dull moment. After attempting housework and helping with homework when I eventually "chill out" I like to read a little and I am certainly enjoying discovering new books on this site.

If you get the chance, please take a look at "CHARLIE and the men in shoes" by my big brother MD Shakespeare-Fletcher. Yes, of course I've read it myself and, family loyalty aside, it's a really well written piece of work and a cracking good read.

Neville I have read the first three chapters and so far found the story very interesting and easy to read. I think it will be a real hit with children. Tommy is a likeable character and children will be able to easily identify with him. Your writing style is very gentle so it makes for a great b... view book

Karen I started reading and got carried away by your chatty writing style and wicked sense of humour, so much so that I read to the end! Very well written for someone who had to put up with ITA and 'dislecsia'!! Thoroughly enjoyed the read so have star rated and will keep you on my watchlist, H... view book

Jamie I've just read the first few chapters of 'Punch Through' and what an action packed adventure it is! You have a few grammar issues which I'm sure you're aware of but this doesn't make the reading any less enjoyable. This is a great idea and I'm going to have to find time to read more because... view book

Patio I have read the first five chapters and I'm really moved by your story. Once I got used to the way you write and how you say things I found it very interesting and emotional. I hope that by putting your abuse into words it has in some way helped you, like a kind of therapy. Wishing you suc... view book

David I was hooked from the first paragraph and just had to keep reading until I'd finished. What brilliant writing. You transport the reader straight back to Paris in the 1700s so effortlessly and with such vivid description that I was there with Madeline, experiencing each step of her new life ... view book
