...is Vice Captain and Deputy Cake Officer of the Alliance of Worldbuilders critique group. If you write fantasy and want some lovely crits, or just want to banter with fellow fantasy writers, head here: http://www.authonomy.com/forums/threads/83246/the-alliance-of-worldbuilders-part-ii/

CURRENT PROJECT:
The Binding- YA Fantasy Romance with a twist. Straight forward fantasy with no other races, vampires, werewolves, angels, demons, aliens, etc. I started this to rekindle my enjoyment of writing as I was becoming very frustrated with my other work.

Not your usual paranormal fare- no high schools/ amazing male protagonists, for one thing :P

If you're following the story, please keep an eye on it. Email me if you want the latest chapters. (Note: old fans, book 1 of binding is chapters 1-20, and book 2 is chapters 21-34; if you read to chapter 25 before you won't find anything new yet)

Updates can be tracked on the facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Binding/229718793739428

ON-HOLD:
Zodiac Hunters- YA Fantasy Adventure, taking place in a future where fossil fuels have gone and archaeology is the main industry. The first of a trilogy.

Complete at 26 chapters + epilogue but needs a major edit.

For centuries the people of Azaria have been governed by an ancient magic; the Binding, a spell meant to help everyone be with the ones they truly love. But it has become a curse, and for Eliza, every month she must hide away to prevent being Bound to another against her will.

However, on one such night she crosses paths with Ryan, a mysterious traveller. Now Bound to him, Eliza is forced to leave everything she knows in order to stay by his side, lest the Binding send her mad. But Ryan is running from his own past demons, thrusting Eliza onto a perilous journey where she must decide not only her own destiny, but those of all Azaria, as she discovers the truth behind the spell that has dominated since the days of the Goddess...

The Zodiac Hunters

Sam Dogra

A routine raid for relics turns into Kaylen's worst nightmare when he lets a mysterious artefact fall into the wrong hands...

Seeking the treasures of the past is nothing new for the pirate Kaylen, who has spent most of his life lusting after such items. But it's his own past secrets he truly longs for. His only clues are his scorpion necklace and a strange, recurring dream.

So when he stumbles across an ancient and powerful artefact, Kaylen is forced to embark on a journey that will take him to the four corners of the world. As he explores distant lands with newfound friends, the reserved guard Seth and feisty thief Midnight, Kaylen will come to discover the lost secrets of human civilization...and the hidden truth within his past.

You'll never see your star sign in the same light again!

Hello, here for my share of the swap. As I always preface these, what follows is but one opinion. You are under no obligation to listen to any of it, nor do I claim to be an expert. PITCH: A bit bland for my taste. It comes across as 'Willow does this, Willow does that'. I'd try and give it mo... view book

Hello, sorry for the delay but here for my share of the swap. As I always preface these things this is but one opinion of someone who does not claim to be an expert, so take whatever you like from my observations. PITCH- the short pitch is very dry! 'This is a story of...'. I'd keep it from Ava's... view book

Hi Phil, thanks for your patience, here to return a read. As I always preface these things what follows is just one opinion and should be taken with copious amounts of salt or other proverbial seasoning. Pitch is good, but seems quite disjointed. Sure we get the connection between the Alexandr... view book

Hello, so sorry for the delay but work has just taken over and I can't really do swaps, but I owe you one for commenting on mine. As I always preface these things, what follows is but one opinion and you are free to discard/ obliterate/ incinerate my observations or frame them on the wall as you see... view book

Okay Aiyana, read the first bit (still too long for my simple brain to handle!). It's LOADS better than what I read in the Dark Ages. The flow is much better, I'm really getting a taste of Ande as a person, and you're setting up the story with much more intrigue. *SPOILER* I didn't know James wasn't... view book
