about me

A lifetime reader, this site is like dipping into a candy bowl. Have to watch my time or it's lost to waves of new book selections.

I read now mostly for enjoyment so not interested in horror, hard-boiled police fiction, fantasy, science fiction or erotica. Sorry, but know there are lots of others out there who love these genres.

I plan to upload my historical fiction American Kin: Choices within the next few weeks. It's hard to let it go and put it out there, but I'm interested in helpful comments and suggestions.

Richard, I've neglected my house, own writing & all else, but I've finished your book! Once caught in the grip of the suspense, I had to follow the story to the end. Congrats on what will undoubtedly be a best seller, right up there with Vince Flynn's, Dan Brown's and a very few others who can te... view book

You have a wonderful story, richly told here. I don't know how early you are in your version, but you have a number of punctuation and a few grammatical edits to make. They will make reading your work easier for the reader. Your characters are above interesting; they grab the reader and hold our int... view book

Your dialogue is amazing. Your first person insights are entertaining. A very good read. I especially enjoyed the humor which seems to fit with my own - guess that's why I liked it so much. A few punctuation issues, easily fixed. I wonder if you'd want to tighten up the first chapter a bit, maybe... view book

I've enjoyed very much reading several chapters of your book and plan to read the rest. You have captured the thoughts and actions of these boys wonderfully. I'm really taken with stories about the evacuees, and this one has the twist of a time slip which makes for an intriguing story. For now I'... view book

You're already at number 1 so not much to add except - WHAT A GREAT READ! I can see how this will make a great screenplay and film. Your descriptions of being in an MRI machine are hair-raising, especially when one remembers this is a trained pilot who experiences the anxiety even before the earthqu... view book
