about me

Favourite cartoon character: Mutley: got to love that laugh!
I live in Australia.
Mother, of the two most adorable chublets god ever put on this earth- well most of the time at least. (Don't all mothers think that!)
Just to let you know the avatar I've chosen is my son. He features in my novel as well. My favourite character of course!!

I don't tend to change my shelf much. But I am happy to support those that want to try and make a run for the desk, if I think they are worthy and deserve the prize.
The books I have on my shelf are books that I truly love and I have read all of the uploads. I think these five should be published.

Best of luck to you all. I hope you continue to enjoy the site and use it for what I think it does best--to make like minded friends and to support each other, as we embark on this wonderful process of writing.

Cheers Jacoba

Hi, A YARG review. I think you have the makings of a nice fantasy story here. You certainly have all the right elements, interesting characters a land in trouble and an unlikely heroine. I read the first chapter and have some suggestions you might find helpful. I saw on your profile page you wa... view book

Hi a YARG review, I like the feeling of this, the prologue is setting the scene for the rest of the story. You have created some interesting characters, and the beginning leaves the reader wondering about the characters and what has happened to lead them to this fate. I have included some suggesti... view book

Hi, YARG review, As others have already said, this is indeed a fresh idea for the YA market. I think your definite strength is in your vivid descriptions and your dialogue. I warmed to Arianna and Henry's character straight away, not something everyone can achieve in the very first chapter, so w... view book

Hi, Came for a YARG review. I read the first two chapters and you have an intriguing premise here. I could see young adults enjoying this. The dialogue is realistic for teenagers and the attitude of Amy seems to be spot on, considering what she is being accused of. I like it when fantasy storie... view book

YARG review Top idea for a Young Adult novel. And well executed. I enjoyed what I read. The voice is just the right tone for this genre, and the light humour adds to the enjoyment. I only got tripped up by this sentence, I'd take out the first that : ...considering the definition that... One oth... view book
