about me

Commercial writer and business author, trainer and IT lecturer. Love all forms of fiction, and particularly enjoy science fiction. I spend a lot of time telling people how to write well (in business) so you'd think I should be good at it. Well, perhaps you might judge that for yourself .

Update: 'Elemental' is being revised. Thanks to everyone for their feedback.

Hi Sarah. The quality of the writing is top notch. Lot's of good things: dialogue, scene-setting, characterisation, plotting, pace and so on. Yet another authonomy surprise. I've just started reading but want to come back for more - and this is not normally my kind of book (the more I read on authon... view book

Hi Carolyn. Tolly's World is utterly charming. I really enjoyed reading these stories. I have two daughters and I would love to have read these to them (bit too old now). And that's the thing. they are very 'readable' - probably deliberately so on your part. The dialogue is structured but fresh, the... view book

Hi Michael Many thanks for posting 'Calloway Blood'; it is on my bookshelf and I'm sure it will do well. Things I like: The atmosphere, which is so important, is well developed, built by contribuitons from all he main characters. This is clever, because there is no need for long set-piece descript... view book
