about me

The Zero Line. Now available on Kindle.

Weeeeeeee!

I live in Maryland, but was born in England. I have two little boys (adorable and adopted), both born in Asia. I'm happily married.

I love chocolate, American football (only when the Cowboys are winning, which is hardly ever), kittens, puppies, and people who say 'please' and 'thank you.'

I don't care for politics or mean people.

Sometimes I back books without leaving a comment. That just means that my hands hurt, but I like your writing enough to back it. I only back books I like.

I trained polo ponies for an Oscar-winning actor. I also trained horses used in the Olympics (modern pentathlon). Then I grew up and worked for the government for 25 years on things I can't tell you about.

I love Authonomy and reading such wonderful pieces out there. Best of luck to all of you.

The Zero Line

Jean Kinkade

A young couple falls into the secretive world of the CIA after finding a mysterious key.

On the banks of one of Maryland's oldest sea towns, a secret is about to be revealed.

In suburban Baltimore, Polly McKenna, a housewife with a past she'd rather forget, won't rest until she tracks down the origins behind a murder confession on the back of her new grandfather clock. Her husband, Mitch, a former Marine with a guilty conscience, reluctantly follows. But when they discover an old friend wrote the shocking admission, a chilling scenario begins to unfold.

Drawn into the cryptic world of the CIA, the young couple race to stop him from killing again.

What the Mckennas don't know is that someone else is tracking their friend--someone with the power and desire to kill hundreds. And Mitch is the new target. Suddenly the reluctant one, Polly is forced to reach back into a world she left behind--a world that nearly took her life, a world Mitch knows nothing about.

I saw that my friend, Daydreaming backed this (I find a lot of books this way!) The topic intrigues me and your cover is fantastic. Watchlisted for now and highly rated. I look forward to reading more. JKinkade view book

Gorgeous writing. I never tire of the Russian theme, especially when it relates to thrillers and intelligence services. Of course, I'm biased. But still, this is really good, George (it that's your real name). :-) Highly starred and backed with pleasure. view book
