about me

Just a quick note before I get a chance to put more up about me. Thank-you for the comments. I have read all of them. Big thanks to those that have read and backed my book!

I will be reading and replying to comments one day a week at this point. Otherwise I will never have time to write anything!

I am currently revising and editting the final draft of The List. Time Consuming!

Thanks again and I will be getting back to each and every one of you in a few days.

ps The pic is from a recent trip to Strawberry Hill in Jamaica. Beautiful!

THE LIST

Marjorie Dawn Tulloch

Fatima and Rachel have been best friends since Kindergarten, until Ali moved in next door. Nineteen years later, will he still come between them?

Fatima and Rachel have been best freinds since Kindergarten. Nothing has ever come between them. They have maneuvered through differences in faith, through death, birth, sickness, absent parents, abusive relationships and the day to day challenges of raising their children, all on the same street.
Will the man of their dreams, their childhood friend, Ali who is now Fatima's husband, finally be the force that tears their friendship apart?
Can Rachel overcome her jealosy to move successfully into her own satisfying life, finding and developing her own faith along the way?
Can Fatima rise above her issues to keep her marriage together and her friendship intact.
Can Ali successfully juggle all his hats, husband, father, pro basketball player, son, friend and still stay true to himself, his faith and the ones he loves the most?

I had a difficult time getting into this story. Is it because I prefer people over animals? I'm not too sure. I found the writing entertaining and can see the humour though not to my taste. I think descriptions that get deeper into the thoughts and feelings of the characters, human or not will mo... view book

I have completed the book and actually read every word. The beginning caught me right away. The ending was satisfying. All the issues were tied up. The characters were well defined and the action kept coming. Every time I thought I could take a break after 'this chapter', I was wrong. I just had... view book

I just finished ch 10 and I love it. This is exactly the type of writing that I enjoy, clean easy reading with an action driven plot. The descriptive portions are just what is necessary to move the story forward. Reading this story will be one of my best lessons in novel writing. I can already se... view book
