about me

NOTE: I just want to let everyone know that I've been really busy, and expect to remain so for awhile. I'll keep checking here, so feel free to ask for swaps, etc.. I just probably won't be as punctual as usual.

I'm a writer that strives for excellence. I love stories that lift and inspire, and portray the world in it's reality in new, different ways; whether it's beautiful or dark and gruesome. My literary hero is Tolkien, a man who wrote from the heart, and gave to many people like myself a story we could believe in, a story that we all had but had not yet realized. So hats off to Tolkien, the king, as many of us I'm sure would agree.

My current book is the second in my Alexis trilogy, the first of which has been taken down after publication on Kindle. I appreciate any comments and backings immensely, they are a great source of encouragement to me, and I thank all who have helped me make Alexis a better work.
And may you all keep up your own good work!

Alexis: Tears of Blood

Elora Carmen Shore

Many terrors have already been faced...but Alexis will find that her heart has not yet known the deepest pain.

With the battle of Ethen'dor won, Alexis and Resen have found the next path that they must take. Corruption and uncertainty have claimed kingdoms to the south, and the kingdoms to the east suffer. But the enemy has something to unleash that no one would have seen, something that will strike at the heart of the cause, into the Chosen herself.
New figures will arise, new swords unsheathed, and veils will be dropped....

The Chosen is going to know the meaning of heartache and darkness, and the whole land of Aunniguld is going to be aflood with bloodshed once again.

Read the first three chapters! They were very well done! I'm impressed. I did think that the intro of new characters that pop up in the new world was abrupt, that it'd help to have a bit more back story. Like begin with a clue of what had happened to put them there, and then proceed with their react... view book

I read the prologue and the first three chapters. Very well done! You story breathes, and speaks for itself. A fine piece of work. I especially loved the chap with the old man talking about his life. That was so real and touching. Excellent pathos, simple and genuine. Six stars and will back when I ... view book

I read the first four chapters--this is a great read! I'm absolutely fascinated. I love your characters. Love the story, and it's believable concreteness. Wonderful! This is going to be a well liked story. I do think that the beginning seemed a bit uninformed--although the answers do come later. But... view book

I like the characters and the setting, but some of the narrative is confusing. Mostly after the shots in the second chap--I just found it confusing. But I can see that you have your own voice, and that this has an authentic touch. My only advice is keep polishing! Good luck! If you are so incline... view book

You have an incredible voice. This is a thoroughly professional, entertaining, thought-provoking read. I'm just disappointed there isn't more yet. How long have you been writing? I would expect this sort of work from someone who has been at it for a long time indeed--and is well paid. ;D I can't say... view book
