Julia Tagliere is a freelance writer and editor. She received her B.A. from Northern Illinois University and is currently on hiatus from her pursuit of an M.F.A. in Writing. She is a regularly featured author at Buzzle.com, and serves as editor of the Professional Editors Network's Networking News; her work has also been featured inThe Writer magazine as well as at many diverse Web sites. In 2008, Ms. Tagliere was a finalist in The Loft Literary Center's Mentor Series competition for her work in nonfiction.

She has written a novella, a first novel, and is currently hard at work writing her second.
