about me

Being dyslexic I can not spell, and punctuation has always been a bit of a mystery, and on top of that my sentences often come out backwards, however I have an imagination which never ever stands still , and I adore following the story telling trail as it entices one to follow.

FALLING THROUGH THE cRACKS

bETTY DYE

Intriguing ,short ghost stories, where the ghosts bring devastating retribution, gentle support or a startling flicker of eternity.

In 'Falling Through the Cracks' unsettling ghosts stride across the pages with a purpose, their mission is not to scare as much as to punish. These are not horror stories more a fracturing of normality to catch a glimpse of what is bubbling beneath. At the margins of vision, the ghosts come, ready to crush or to soothe, to illuminate or to exact retribution. They can be kind, or angry;vengeful or desperate and their presence always changes those they meet. In 'Dining with the Werewolf' a treacherous trader in human organs faces the consequences of his butchery, while in 'Over the Edge'a shattered Bishop discovers delight.Perhaps these are really ghost stories for women.

Vieve, Thank you so much , and I think you are quite right. And I do not mind criticism one little bit, I just use it to pull myself up a little bit higher and i know I am guilty of letting the story run away with itself. My problem is that I am seeing the scene so clearly myself I forget no one el... view book

I've only read the first three chapters, but they are lovely easy reading, I don't care if you are not telling me where you are going as long as the language and the characterization is attractive( Stephen King say s concentrate on setting, dialogue and narrative, because plot will look after it'... view book

Some very strong characters and easy reading dialogue , and a good feeling of actual environment still needs a bit of editing , i liked the way the fantasy slipped in so easily. At times I got mixed metaphors and i was not completely sure which emotion you were trying to convey . Have a look at ... view book

You have a good story and you have the ability to keep it moving forward at a very sharp pace. and you create a believable background to the events. I would like the motivation for the murders to be to be revealed as the action occurs and much more slowly. To me your weakness lies in se... view book

I don't like fantasy, and I don't like clever clogs who keep talking to me when I am reading the story but your essential humour seduced me into reading on and on. I think my son would be fan if you get this published . I will try and say something constructively critical when I have read a bit mo... view book
