about me

My day job: Editor and writer of marketing material for a major university in the northeastern United States.

My night job: A published author of more than a dozen non-fiction childrens' books that cover topics ranging from timely social issues, celebrity biographies, and emerging career paths.

I am now venturing from non-fiction to fiction. Blood Moon is now available for reading. I welcome comments and constructive criticism. I'm also happy to return a read if you'd like to swap. Just drop me a note.

An avid reader, I enjoy smartly written YA fantasy, romance novels with a purpose, and intelligent mystery/thrillers that leave you on the edge of your seat.

City of Bones/City of Ashes/City of Glass (Cassandra Clare)

David, I've given your book a read, completing up to chapter six to get a good sense of your writing style. I think you've done a fine job of crafting a multi-layered story that is about more that just an athlete nearing the end of his prime. You've given Jack a likable personality and some dept... view book

Richard, This is a very well constructed story. I intended to only read a few chapters to get a sense of your writing, but the story pulled me in. I'm into Chapter 17 and intend to continue to the end. I should tell you that I rarely find work this good on the Authonomy site and feel the need to ... view book

Gerry- Nice writing, strong first chapter that plunges the reader in the story. No wasted time with an overly long set up. This is very well done. You have a strong voice and a very easy style of writing that invites your audience in and hold them. Backed. Nice job. ~Laura Blood Moon view book

Joanne--I had intended to only read the first few chapters, but I was hooked and I read through chapter 17. This is a very well constructed story. You provide strong tension with the mystery of the murders as you slowly reveal details that begin to link the serial killings to Chelsea as an intended ... view book
