about me
I read a lot, almost exclusively fiction of every genre. If I read nonfiction, I read history, biographies and autobiographies. I've taken writing classes and attended one writing conference for which I had to submit work.
favourite books
Bel Canto by Ann Patchett; Great Expections, Jane Eyre, George RR Martin's Game of Thrones (when will he publish the next sections?) --
Mysteries - I like Elizabeth George, Donald Westlake, Nevada Barr, Tony Hillerman, Reginald Hill, etc. I just found a new writer - Dan Fesperman, Stopover in Dubai, is the title I think. Also "The Writing Class" by Jincy Willett. I've never found anything else by her but I loved this mystery whose protagonist is a failed writer.
Actually, too many favorites and too many wonderful books to choose among.
