I've been married to a wonderful man for over seventeen years, worked in the financial services industry for more years than that, and am in the process of raising two beautiful children. Whenever I have a free moment I pursue my other great passion - writing.
So far, I've written two manuscripts - YA: Words That Kill and My Domino Life - and have started a third (adult fiction). While I came close to publishing My Domino Life and received initial interest by literary agents for Words That Kill, my newbieness got in my own way, sending the manuscripts out WAY BEFORE they were ready. Lesson learned. With additional re-writes of my YA work I'm still hopeful that they will someday be perched on a bookshelf, and if that dream isn't realized, well perhaps it will be for my third!!
I enjoy reading the works of others and providing comments that I hope help to improve them. I welcome read swaps as long as the person swapping is willing to offer a critique, even if it is a harsh one.
