HELL IS WAITING

Laughton A. Parchment

HELL IS WAITING....A story of overwhelming love, passion, good people doing their best to be good, and the sinful doing what they do best.

When Gus Mignott takes a well connected whore without paying, the wheels of bribery, deception and greed began turning and Gus is about to be sacrificed.Suddenly Jamaica has become too hot for Gus; he jumps on a ship and escapes to England. Still being ruled by his insatiable carnal cravings, Gus rushes into a marriage of sexual convenience but is lost and without a friend.

Gus invites his best friend, David Roberts, and his wife to England, but by the time they arrived Gus has discovered white women and has no use for David. He makes a play for David’s wife then kicks them out of his house.

David moves into his own home with his wife and three children, but when his fifteen year old Daughter, Jean, is raped on her way to school one morning, the family keeps it quiet to protect her, but Jean is talking suicide. The family is slowly drifting apart with suspicion and decaying trust. Resulting in incest, pregnancy, death, and Jean spending the rest of her life trying to find the son she’d lost with devastating results, after her wealthy husband hires an incompetent Private investigator.
