about me

Hi everyone. I'm back again and ready to get writing. My father died suddenly from a heart attack in November and writing suddenly seemed too difficult. I feel ready to write again now, as much for my dad as myself as he was always proud that I wanted to be a writer. I am now 28 years old and have been writing as long as I can remember. My tastes in writing have changed over the years but I will still read everything and anything.
I haven't been published but I have had positive feedback from agents and received a telephone call from one to discuss my book. I am positive that I can do this and hope to get that lucky break in the future!

When an writer comes to research the area for a book he is writing Lily finds herself forced into working with him. Despite her frustrations and barriers, she finds herself drawn towards him and her life begins to turn around. The only problem is that Lily has a secret regarding her past and her partner that she has been trying to keep for a long time. If her new love gets close to her, won't he get too close to the truth?

Thank you for you comments - they really give me hope!! I agree with what you have said and I will be making the appropriate changes as soon as possible. No, you weren't being fussy. I wondered the same things myself. view book

I added this to my bookshelf because the idea interested me and I am always game for a read about a more controversial subject. I read the other comment you were given and I also read your reply and so felt I had to write myself to give my opinion. I have just started to become more aware of the s... view book

I really enjoyed this. You write fluently and I believed in the main character. I especially liked the way you added humour to the internal dialogue as it gave real insight into how he was torturing himself and debating about the best way to deal with his situation. Well done. Sarah view book
