about me

PLEASE NOTICE: I have privatized my novels because I wasn't working on promoting them. I am only here to support books I love and to find more of them. Perhaps even socialize a bit. Please do not solicit reads unless I owe you one.

I am the artist who painted the avatar you see to the left, and the detail you see on the cover of my novel.

My line of work has been with troubled teens in runaway shelters and psych treatment facilities.

A few years back, I studied screenwriting, but then returned to my first love, the art of the novel.

Someone said we write to tell ourselves how to behave. I try to respect the power of the written word. Powerful spirits create.

Hey: I'll put this on my shelf and hopefully read more at my leisure. Good luck with this, the pitch and your tags brought me in and I was not disappointed. I would edit in the following: And finally, a (second/third trimester) pregnancy, (when you mention her belly was taut with a pregnancy... view book

Someone once said there should never be a 'sigh.' I disagree, but I feel your well-written prologue would be complete without one. You introduce four characters effectively, giving plenty of information without a halt in the prose. Well done. Might I suggest, 'how is the book coming,' (he) a... view book

Hi Mat: This is on my shelf and for some reason, I returned to see what I'd written and can't find it uploaded here. But I know I spoke of how people never really know what truly makes up a total stranger and how the child abuse was nicely portrayed. I felt the simple vulnerability of the child d... view book

Hi C.P.: Already I like the voice, and I like that the houses all face east, and the cook saying "Ey, that may well be, but there's no use getting cross with me for it. T'was me ma who said it." I see some multiple use of 'time' which is for some reason a peeve of mine. And I love a poignant que... view book
