about me

Chucked the job. Sold the flat. Two years later I'm still writing every day. I'm not published yet, but it sure beats commuting.

Latest news: I've made 'Copper Book' private. I'm unable to do a lot of reviewing of other people's books at the moment, so I think it would be unfair to leave mine open for reviewing if I can't reciprocate. Cheers! - Adrian.

- A cup of coffee - Griff leant back against the vat grown leather in his booth at Nova Deli and looked around for Nikki. No sign of her yet, but then again, she was rarely on time. His felt another jolt of pain in his fingers. He turned his hands over on the table and examined the cuts across th... view book

A really good read. I was drawn in by the pitch and the synopsis, which were both alluring and well written. The prose itself is clean, easy to read and polished. The style of the prose gives a great feeling of the narrator's character, is consistent and pulls the reader along well. In terms of iss... view book

I really liked your first chapter. I found the appearance of the dragon to be a wonderful idea. The way you described it, the contrast of its exotic form with the mundane environment and how Gareth dealt with it to be top notch. By comparison, I found the second chapter more difficult. For me, the s... view book

A great protagonist and huge potential here. I really enjoyed Sacrabeus the Sorceror. His first line of dialogue was an absolute winner. You have a character that would definitely entice a reader to read the whole book, if not several sequels. I did see several issues that I thought I'd pass on. I... view book

I'm really enjoying this. I kept wanting to know what was happening next, and I was half way through the third chapter when I remembered I'm supposed to be giving feedback on the story. The setting up of the watch is great, the fact that 2416 is empty, with nothing around, just a few signs of what w... view book
