Gigolo - Book One

Lee Brailsford

Everybody has their limits. Everybody.

With life comes a secret. A life altering secret. It doesn’t require you to join a cult or adopt a religion, but only to recognize it, and stick to it. Few are capable.

Meet Nathan Brookes – an arrogantly opinionated, self-obsessed gigolo. As a child he was plain, plump, lacked charisma, but through one sour teenage event, he discovered the secret. He understood it, embraced it, and by the age of twenty-three women were paying handsomely for his services, men envied him.

Nathan’s day begins with an odd phone call from a woman; a potential client who is willing to pay well above the going-rate for his services. So good in fact that he can’t possibly refuse. Nathan toys with the notion that something about this mysterious client is amiss. Will she be all she seems, or does the rabbit hole go far deeper than he could possibly imagine?

Nothing but compliments for this. Just read one and two and really enjoyed them. I'm sure anything positive i have to say has already been said many times, so i'll just wish you all the best. Lee "GiGOLO" view book

Hey Sammy I have just read C5 (Learning Hebrew). I like the premise of this and the pitch certainly works. The beginning of the chapter (the whole Mother Nature metaphor) is fantastic. Your writing flows and there is some serious potential here. However, it does need a thorough edit, but that is ... view book

Very nicely written, JD. I have just read 4 and 11 randomly and don't really have anything negative to say. Lovely flowing style, and strong dialogue. Good stuff... Oh, one tiny thing i noticed. In the second to last paragraph before the break in C11, it ends with "She was special" ... I think t... view book

Hey Eric, I have just finished reading C8. Some disturbing prose in there, my friend, but I do like your style. The detail in places is incredibly graphic and smoothly written. The dialogue also is good. However, i would recommend a thorough edit to cut down some wordage. I found certain (only a few... view book

Hey Ben I have just read C13 and was blown away by your talent. You are a genuine wordsmith. The intensity of Cal's feelings towards Sarah is incredibly well handled, and the editing is practially perfect - no wordage to spare. Can't particularly comment on the plot since i chose a chapter at rando... view book
