about me

I enjoy writing books that are different from those I've read. I love reading books of any genre, especially those with a humorous slant, but am mostly stuck on chicklit now as it's brainless and fun to read!

I have 2 completed books posted here. The King and the Thief, a descriptive fantasy/romance with situational humor, and The Fairy Kingdom, a contemporary fantasy/comedy that teens will enjoy.

PS: I don't like to swap reads. As you can see, my book rating is falling...and I don't care. If my book ain't worth reading unless I read yours, then my book can't be that good. Ditto yours...

favourite books

Rage of Angels by Sidney Sheldon, The Firm by John Grisham, Shoppaholic series by Sophie Kinsella, Most of Judith McNaught's books especially Paradise, Transformation by Carol Berg...

The King and the Thief

Siver Mask

An arrogant king is tricked into believing he's an outlaw after losing his memory...by none other than the thief he'd sentenced to hang.

Cavan wakes up amnesiac in the forest. A frail girl who nurses his wounds tells him he's a bandit and fellow prison escapee. Little does he know, he’d sentenced her to hang just a few days ago.

When Tarya stumbles across the unconscious king after a vicious battle, her conscience pricks her into nursing him. But she's soon having her little fun with him when he wakes up amnesiac. And with the forest surrounded by his guards and the never-ending dangers within the forest, she's using his survival skills to help her get away. But soon, she's coming to realize that her white lies are spinning out of control and that it could lead her to a fate worse than death.

A fantasy romance completed at 104,000 words.

Love Me, Love Me Not

SiverMask

When Carolyn is forced to work as a housekeeper for her ex-fiance, she tries to take revenge but love rekindles instead...

When Carolyn is required to land her ex-fiance multibillion industrialist Michael as a new client, she loses her cool and her job. In a further cruel twist of fate, the cash-strapped Carolyn jumps at a housekeeper opening…only to find out the apartment she’s cleaning belongs to Michael.

She takes petty revenge, ruining his morning dose of coffee with salt...but when Carolyn stumbles across a corporate secret of his, she realizes she holds a greater power to take full-fledged revenge.

The only thing stopping her? His lazy smiles and his invitation to a cosy picnic on his company’s helipad stir up memories of their once sweet romantic past…Still, she finds it difficult to surrender her heart, recognising the old adage of “Once a cheat always a cheat…”

But as the past unravels through an old high-school nemesis, Carolyn realizes Michael isn’t the rakish libertine she had been led to believe. Unfortunately, just as she is ready to take the leap of faith, the corporate secret she holds is accidentally splashed across the city paper’s headlines, and she realizes that history just might repeat itself and break the two soul mates apart… .

Hello! I just read til Chapter 6.... haha so I suppose my earlier comment should be negated...from your comment I assumed that they would be meeting in summer vacation, not Uni! I do like your writing style. It's exuberant. But I was wondering if the plot could go faster...like your first chapte... view book

Hello since you've asked, I had a quick read. To be honest, there isn't enough action at the beginning...I tried to write my story The King and the Thief in a slow laid back way too and through reviewership, found out publishers and agents want action first, back story minimal and later...the hunt i... view book

Hey inkspatters, thanks for the validation. I'm right now compiling the MS to send to an agent, and I'm absolutely terrified. Knowing someone liked it anyways makes me feel less apprehensive and think, "Okay so what if the agent doesnt like it...someone else does!" Thanks again! view book

Hey RoseRed, I have edited away what you've mentioned a few days back, just had no time to post it up here. A friend of mine spotted the mistakes. I'll probably post up the edits in a few days. Thanks for taking the time to review. view book
