about me

I am a passionate born again evangelical Christian, and have been a Christian since the age of 12. After an at-work accident and two leg surgeries, I was a stay at home father to a little girl who is about to turn five. I am now working again.
I love God with all my heart, my soul, and my mind. I will follow His will, whatever it may be. What breaks my heart is the lack of commitment from other Christians nowadays, whether it be towards God or towards their other relationships here on Earth. There is no joy on the faces of believers anymore. The lack of personal closeness to our Father in Heaven leaves too many infant Christians, even from those saved for the last thirty years and proper choir members. Mature Christians are too few and far between.

Update: The final chapter and Afterword have been uploaded, meaning my book is finally complete! It's short, but with a powerful message to hear. I'm thinking of changing the name and cover, though.

Update 2: I've decided on a different name for my book, which needed a different cover as well. Let me know which title and cover you prefer.

The baby on the new cover of the book is my soon to be 5 year old from when she was barely two.

I am now writing a new, fiction book. It is a Christian horror novel. It should be entertaining even for those who don't believe the way I do. As soon as I have enough words, I will start uploading it here!

Update 7/2/2011: Eight week old baby girl equals no time for writing on my new book (and less sleep).

UPDATE: I am now an e-published author for Kindle on Amazon.com, and for all others on Smashwords.com. Wish me luck!

Grow Up! Are you a Child of Go....

Jeremy Willis

God wants you to understand Him, and you can't do that as simply His child. Grow in Him and know Him.

There are too many baby Christians in the church today who can't quite "get" what God really wants from us in our relationship with Him. They believe that if they continue going to church every time the doors are open, they'll eventually understand what He wants from them. Then, they go home wondering why they are unfulfilled.

Too many have fallen for the myth they can never understand God so they don't even try. While we may never know everything about Him, He is just waiting for us to listen to Him so He can tell us what we need to hear.

As a baby, you require others to take care of you, and cannot understand what is being said by adults. As you grow in physical and mental maturity, it is easier to understand more than a few words at a time. God wants us growing so we may understand Him. Learn how to be a man or woman of God and not just His child.

It's got a good starting chapter, with great dialogue. I'll probably read more later, but it's backed! view book

The part where I said everyone knows about it was supposed to be more ironic than anything else. It's a well "quoted" but hardly "well quoted" verse many in the Christian community use to basically say "get over it" when there are hard times. Since this book was mainly skewed towards the Christi... view book

Great book so far. I've come to a lot of these same conclusions myself, and due to recent events in my personal life, it has really been burdening me. When a church budget has more in it annually for flowers to decorate the sanctuary than for the benevolence fund, something should change. Pastors ar... view book

I've read your first chapter and synopsis. It sounds very interesting as a whole. The writing is very similar to other Christian themed novels based on spiritual warfare. It reads a lot like a Frank Pirreti novel. I'm backing for now. view book

No judgment in the Foreword. I simply say who the book is written for. Someone on a diet would not want to pick up a cookbook with lots of butter in every recipe. If a book talked about a personal relationship with a space alien, and it was nonfiction, I would definitely not read it. Not every b... view book
