I want to thank everyone on here for their support. I have recently decided to take my novel off of this site as it is now available on Amazon! (See link below)


I'm just a 27 year old girl from the west coast who couldn't sleep one night because i had an idea, and ended up writing until 5am. Force (formerly It's a Kind of Magic) was the product of that insomnia.

I'm now writing the third book in the series and loving every minute of it. Writing takes me to a place in my imagination where i can escape into a world entirely of my own creation.

Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite authors, and on New Year's Eve he delivered this speech:

May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness.

I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you're wonderful, and don't forget to make some art -- write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can.

May your coming year be a wonderful thing, in which you'll dream dangerously and outrageously, that you'll make something that didn't exist before you made it, that you will be loved and that you will be liked, and that you will have people to love and to like in return.

And, most importantly (because I think there should be more kindness and more wisdom in the world right now), that you will, when you need to be, be wise, and that you will always be kind.

And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.
